Looking for a Mentor

Mentor syn = advisor, guide, guru, consultant, confidant

Mentor noun = an experienced and trusted advisor

I think everyone should have a mentor to help in gaining wisdom, receiving support, talking through how to grow and become the best version of themselves. Mentors are very special and often the special bond cultivated in a mentor/men-tee relationship is difficult to find. It takes some intentional seeking and willingness to to get through some less-than-perfect trial relationships. As I’ve tried to build my own relationship with a mentor, Tony came across this blog post to help give some tips… thought I’d pass it along: Five Rules When Meeting With a Mentor by Perry Noble.

About melanieahill

I am a wife, graduate student, church staff member and most importantly, a work in progress. I am studying to become a licensed professional counselor and I absolutely love to cook.... and eat. I also love to travel, do some basic gardening and maybe one day I'll be a mom. There's a lot that I've learned in my 30 years, but I also know there's a lot more to go. It's an exciting journey!
